Andi and Copper's Dec. 16th litter

Newest pictures are at the top of the page, the further down you look, the younger the pups.

8 weeks old.

Here is your final group shot.

Thank you to all the new puppy parents.

We go for final vet check and shots on Saturday the 13th and then these guys can come home.

2 of these puppies are flying however, it seems we are all snowed in.

I am rescheduling the 2 flights for Monday Feb. 22nd.

To Martha in Grove City, I was planning on meeting you in Columbus with your girl on the 15th

but since I am rebooking the flights, we will have to make other arrangements.

You may visit us next week and pick her up in person or you may wait a week and meet me at the airport on Monday the 22nd.

Of all the counties in the Miami Valley, we got hit the hardest with the snow.

We are currently in our 3rd day of a level 3 snow emergency. (The highest level)

There's over 2 foot of fresh snow here and more on the way they say.

So if you are visiting for pickup, plan accordingly.

The roads are awful around here right now.

If anyone wants to delay pickup because of this weather it is perfectly understandable.

We will take care of the pups, you make sure to pick a time when you can arrive safe please.

Ok..enough babbling...here are the pups and under this 1st picture are a few 'Bloopers' I didn't use.

THANK YOU!!

Six weeks old today.

Only 3 more weeks to go!

All the picks are almost in.

With next week's update I will let you know where each puppy is going.

IF YOU HAVE A NAME IN MIND PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT NAME THIS WEEK.

This is not an official name, if you change you mind later when you fill out your AKC papers, that's ok.

But let me know if you can and I will post it here.

Keep scrolling down to see lots of At Play pictures.

The Brindle Girl

This one is the devil.  She was chomping on my toes the entire time I took these pictures.

I gotta remember to wear shoes when I do this.

This is the alpha pup of the litter. (I think)

The Black Boy

Yesterday, he was the devil of the bunch, picking on the others and generally being a nuisance to his siblings.

No Fear here.

The Wheaten Girl

I originally thought this was the alpha but she seems content to let her brothers and sisters lead the way.

A very curious girl...she has to check out everything.

Wheaten Boy #1

In a word,  Ornery.

He loves to be held.

Wheaten Boy #2

This boy is very happy go lucky. Not shy or alpha.

A nice middle of the road pup.

Wheaten Boy #3

Also not very alpha is this guy.

He isn't shy but he is quite content to go explore while his brothers and sisters keep me busy.

I believe this is the typical Scotty boy...he is going to make his own rules in life.

AT PLAY!

Can you spot your puppy?

These guys are now weaned.

Next week we go to the vet for 1st checkup and shots.

Everyone is doing great and personalities are starting to show.

I will report more on that next week.

Enjoy the pictures!

All pups are now wearing their new ID collars.

These will stay with them until they come home with you.

Four weeks old today.

We have begun the weaning process.

Last choice of these 3 wheaten boys is available.

Please email scottypuppies@aol.com if interested.

One of the hardest things to do is to make the color of these wheatens show in the picture the way it is in real life.

With black pups you have to have the highest light possible so they don't look like shadows.

These wheatens are some VERY red pups yet the flash can really wash them out.

I think I solved the problem.

I reduced my flash power to the lowest setting and I dropped my exposure down 2 f stops and I think I got it.

Have a look.

Wheaten Boys

Boy 1

This guy is the lightest color of the 3 boys.

BIG Yawn!

Wheaten Boy 2

Wheaten Boy 3

The Darkest wheaten pup in the litter.

We have 3 wheaten boys, 1 wheaten girl, 1 black boy and one brindle girl.

These pups can go home on Valentines day.

They are 8 days old in these pictures.
