60 days old and it's time to for these guys to come home with you.
If you have not yet made arrangements for pickup, please email or call me.
These guys can go home after 6PM on Monday the 21st.

Most pups now have names, I have posted the name of the pup and where he/she will be going to live.

50 days old.
It won't be long before these guys go home.
We are in the process of letting you guys pick which puppy you want.
Buy this time next week we should know where each puppy is going.
While you are thinking about which puppy you want, if you can. please think of a name too.
If you email me that name, I will post it next week in the update.
NOTE: Next week's pictures will be the FINAL pictures for this litter.
Next week is Dec. 16th
These guys can start going home the night of the 21st so there won't be a chance for an update that week.
Below I have made a few observations about personality for each puppy.

The Boys
Boy #1 The Black Boy.
This guy is shyer than his brother, he loves to be held and cuddle.
When placed on the floor, he was more interested in exploring than he is in coming to me.
Boy #2 The Black-Brindle Boy.
This guy is alpha of the boys. He likes to play and my wife was having a hard time making him sit still for these pictures.
The Girls
The Black Girl
Another sweetie... enjoys being held and likes to play.
Black Brindle Girl #1 (BBG1)
The shyest pup in this litter.
She comes when called but only after her siblings make sure the coast is clear.
She doesn't cower and she isn't THAT shy...but compared to her litter mates, she is the shy pup.
Black Brindle Girl #2 (BBG2)
This girl is ornery, she might just be alpha of the litter.
She was 1st pick of the girls.
Black Brindle Girl #3 (BBG3)
A nice middle of the road personality.

43 days old now.
We had 1st vet check and shots this week.
Everyone is now fully weaned and they are growing fast.
For those of you with 1st pick...it's time to decide.
If you want to come here to choose in person, you are welcome to do so.
Please email or call me to schedule a time.
For those of you with 2nd through last pick... stand by, as soon as a pick is made, I will email you to let you know who was picked.
This week all pups are now sporting ID collars... they will remain in this order and will keep this collar until you take them home.

29 days old now.
These pups are all weaned off the bottle now.
They are eating (on their own) a mixture of puppy formula and canned puppy food.
They are doing very well and they are starting to become very curious about their surroundings.

These guys are 22 days old now.
They are beginning to lap at a plate of milk but we are still bottle-feeding 2 or 3 times a day.
You might think having a Mama would be better for the pups and you would be right but we have to do what we have to do.
One good thing about bottle feeding though, they are quite used to being handled.
They see me or my wife and they just know food is coming and they get excited.
I think that because of this, this litter will be be VERY sociable with people.

These guys are 15 days old now and growing like weeds.
Eyes are just beginning to open.
I have sold several pups from this litter, here is what REMAINS...

The black boy, the black girl and 1st choice of the black-brindle or brindle girls is now sold.
I am still going down my waiting list to place these puppies.

She is the heavyweight of this litter at 1 pound, 3.7 ounces.

This girl has the most brindle.
She weighs 1 pound, 1.1 ounces

This is the smallest girl in the litter.

We have a very special litter here for a couple reasons.
First the sad news.
This wasn't a trouble free litter.
The mommy of this litter, Cantrell's Tiger Lily had to have an emergency C-section.
Things were looking good until 2 days after the surgery.
As a result of the surgery she developed a blood clot that went to her heart and killed her.
We lost her at 9AM on Friday morning Oct. 23rd as we were heading to the vet with her.
This was only Lily's 2nd litter and her first in a year. She was 3 years old.
This is the first time we have lost a mommy with puppies.
The other interesting thing about this litter is the fact that this is the first litter sired by our newest stud Cantrell's Blackjack.
We have 6 very special puppies here.
We are bottle feeding them all.
They are doing very well.
We have:
4 Females, 1 black and 3 black-brindle.
2 Males, 1 black and one black-brindle.
These puppies can go home on or after December 21st.
They CAN GO HOME for Christmas. The timing of this litter is just right to make these Christmas Puppies.
The BLACK FEMALE is sold.
I will be contacting those of you on my waiting list to place this litter.
