10-10-2010

49 days old now.

I would like to take this time to explain why I have been a bit lax on the photo updates.

About 4 weeks ago, my youngest son (18) was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

In these last 3 weeks, he has undergone 2 major surgeries.

In 3 more weeks, he will start the 1st of two scheduled chemo treatments.

Each 'treatment' consists of several 'sessions'.

As you can understand, this has taken top priority in our lives and the puppies have not been 1st and foremost on my mind.

The pups are doing great.  1st vet check is now behind us and they will be ready to go home in about 2 more weeks.

Below I will let you know where each pup is going to go live and that pup's name if I have it.

After that, keep looking because I have a bunch of shots of them playing in the yard.

There will be one more group photo in about 10 days and then these guys can go home in about 2 more weeks.

If I didn't mention the name of your pup, please email me the name and I will post it in the next update.

33 days old in these shots taken yesterday.

These guys are now 100% weaned.

On Oct. 1st we go for vet check and 1st shots.

Next week each puppy will have a special ID collar so there will be no confusion.

Apparently these guys thought it was a good idea to dance in the water dish right before I took their photos.

All shots were taken outside using available light (no flash)
