62 days old today.

It's time for this litter to go home.

Here is your final group shot.

Below that are a few 'blooper' shots.

It's pretty hard to get 7 pups all to look your way at the same time.

Thanks to all the puppy lovers out there!  Enjoy!

THANK YOU!

45 days old today.

Friday we went to the vet for 1st checkup and shots and all pups got the thumbs up from my vet.

The picking process for the girls is underway.

The 1st two picks have been made.

The folks with 3rd pick are visiting us Friday to choose and then we will know where each puppy is going.

Next week I will do a kind of introduction of each puppy and let you know where each is going to go live.

At that time, if I have it, I will also post the name you have given your puppy.

If you have not emailed me a name for your pup, please do so this week.

In fact, even if you HAVE emailed me your name, please do so again so I don't mess it up.

Since all pups have had their first shots, today I let them play in the grass for the 1st time of their lives.

Here are the pictures!

05-17-2010

38 days old now.

These guys are now 100% weaned and everyone seems to be doing great.

We go to my vet for 1st checkup and shots this coming Friday afternoon.

For those of you with picks of the girls, be ready to pick.

1st pick will decide by Friday night.

Then it will be 2nd pick's turn.

If you want to visit us to choose in person, please let me know when you would like to visit.

As for the boys, everyone already knows which boy they are getting.

Personalities are just starting to develop.

It's still VERY early but I have made a few observations below.

Keep in mind, these are very early observations, the pup that is Alpha this week may seem more on the shy side next week.

The Girls

Girl #1  PG1

At this time, I think she is the most outgoing of the 4 girls.

Doesn't seem to be shy at all.

Girl #2  PG2

A little shyer than her sister above, but very loving once she trusts you.

Girl #3  PG3

As of right now, I am calling this girl the shyest pup of the litter.

Having said that, she isn't THAT shy, she just takes a little longer to warm up to you.

Girl #4  PG4

Similar in personality to sister #2 above.

A good middle of the road happy go lucky pup.

The Boys

Boy #1  PB1

This might be the alpha pup of the litter.

Very playful and curious.

Boy #2  PB2

Not too shy either and he loves people.

I had to keep pushing him away so I could get a good shot, all he wanted to do was be my friend!

Boy #3  PB3

This guy might be alpha too.

He is a very happy boy.

bark!

05-10-2010

31 days old now.

We are weaning this week.

This is a rough time for the pups, it's kind of like a person trying to give up cigarettes and it's very stressful for them.

By this time, next week, these guys will be 100% weaned from mom, wish us luck!

They are eating solid food AND nursing right now and they are doing great.

They are also getting their 2nd worming this week.

All pups now have special ID collars, they don't come off until you cut them off.

Red for girls, Green for boys.

The Boys

Boy #1, the black boy, collar ID PB1 (Piper's Boy #1)

Boy #2, the black-brindle boy, collar ID PB2 (Piper's Boy #2)

Boy #3, the brindle boy, collar ID PB3 (Piper's Boy #3)

The Girls

Girl #1, the black girl, collar ID PG1 (Piper's Girl #1)

Girl #2, the blackest black-brindle girl, collar ID PG2 (Piper's Girl #2)

Girl #3, the more brindle, black-brindle girl, collar ID PG3 (Piper's Girl #3)

Girl #4, the brindle girl, collar ID PG4 (Piper's Girl #4)
