Pups are 6 weeks plus 2 days old in these pictures.
All the pups now have their 1st shots, 2nd worming and it's time to choose your puppy!
For those of you not visiting us to choose, below I will try to give you some info about each pup's personality.
1st pick of boys and 1st pick of girls.... you are up first.
If you plan on visiting me to choose your pup, please send me an email and let me know when you would like to visit.
Each puppy is now sporting an ID collar.
This collar will stay with the pup until you take it off.
It's like a hospital bracelet, the only way to remove it is to cut it off.
Each pup is labeled "G Boy 1 or G Girl 3 etc. etc. The "G" stands for their momma, Ginger.
The Boys
Boy #1
I think this might be the alpha pup of the litter.
He is playful, animated and ornery.
Just a great boy.
He is 100% black but does have a "soul patch" on his chin.
Boy #2
This guy is a curious and happy fella.
Not quite the character that his brother above is, he still likes everyone.
He is 100% black with a 'tuft' of wheaten on his chest.
Boy #3
This guy is a lot like boy #2 in personality.
Another happy pup.
He has some brindle but is 99% black.
Most of his brindle is on his face and feet...this is the pup I call Scar.
Boy #4
This is the shyest pup of the litter.
He is a happy boy when he warms up but he is content to let his siblings have all the fun.
He will jump in but only after he is sure it is safe.
He is 99% black but has the most brindle of all these pups.
Ears, feet and head is where most of his brindle is.
The Girls
Girl #1
This girl is playful and curious.
She is the blackest of the girls.
She has a very small wheaten 'tuft' on her chest and a 'soul patch' on her lip.
Girl #2
A little more reserved than girl 1.
She is calm and content but not afraid to jump in.
She is black but she has the largest wheaten 'tuft' of the group.
Girl #3
Last but not least, we have this little one.
She is playful and not shy at all.
She has the most brindle of the girls but it's hardly noticeable without a flash from a camera.
see ya in a week or two!

5 weeks old now and growing fast.
These guys are now completely weaned from Mom.
Next week the pups will be 6 weeks old.
They will get 1st inoculations and then it will be time to choose your puppy.
I will take new table-shot pictures next week and each puppy will be wearing an ID collar.
As for this week, here are the pups in no particular order.
The Girls
Girl #1
She has one ear up and one starting to go up.
Please don't let ears influence your decision.
Ears can go up and down several times over the next few months.
Ears can take 6 months to a year to stand erect and stay that way.
This girl has some brindle starting to show.
Please keep in mind, the flash of my camera really makes it stand out.
Girl #2
This girl seems 99.99% black.
She has the soul patch on her lower lip and some very faint brindle hairs on her back foot.
Girl #3
Blackest of the girls.
She does have a small 'soul patch' under her lip.
The Boys
Boy #1
Very black, I can't see any brindle in this guy.
Boy #2
He also seems all black and he has a soul patch.
Boy #3
This guy has a brindle stripe on one side of his face.
My wife has been calling him 'Scar'.
Boy #4
Last but not least is this guy.
He has the most brindle of any of the pups in this litter.
Still..it is so faint I am still going to classify him as black.
see ya next week.

All these pups are now sold, thank you!
In these pictures the pups are 21 days old.
All eyes are open and pups have had their 1st worming.
Everyone is doing great and Ginger is turning out to be a wonderful Momma.
Here are the pups in no particular order.
When they are around 6 weeks old they will each get a special ID collar so we can tell them apart.

3 Girls (LEFT) 4 Boys (RIGHT)
The Girls
Girl 3 has a wheaten star on her chest.
Girl 1 has small star and soul patch on lower lip.
These are very small and will probably fade with age.
The Boys
Boys 1 and 3 have the slightest soul patch on their lower lips.
These will fade with age.
Boy 4 has the lightest brindle in his face and front paws. it is so faint that we didn't notice it until the flash of the camera showed it to us.
I am still classifying him as black.
watch for new pictures in about 10 days.
