50 days old.

I have to start this week with some sad news.

We lost girl #3 from this litter.

As you know, from my last report, we were in the weaning process.

Seems her digestive tract wasn't fully developed and once we started giving her solid food, she could not digest it and in the end it killed her.

My vet did everything he could to save her but it was not to be.

This is the worse part about being a breeder, despite every precaution, I can still lose a pup.

The rest of the litter is doing great.

They are now fully weaned and eating 100% dry Purina puppy chow.

We are still in the process of deciding which puppy goes where, next week I will announce each pups name (if you tell me that name) and where each is going.

34 days old now.

What a difference a week makes!

We have begun weaning them this week.

By next week they will completely free of mama's milk.

All pups are now sporting new ID collars.

These collars will stay with them until they go home with you.

Here are 1st pictures of Mandie's new litter.

The pups are 11 days old in these pictures.

We have 5 black pups.

2 boys, one of the boys has some faint brindle on him but he is still very black.

3 girls, all appear to be 100% black at this time.

Don't be surprised if some faint brindle shows up sometime in the puppy's life, their daddy is a wheaten after all.

The Boys

See the faint brindle on the boy on the left?

It's on his paws and cheeks.
